But maybe this will get teh gheys to buy even MORE tickets.

The Mets have done this for a decade, at least. They want as broad of a fanbase as possible. Queens is one of the most ethnically diverse counties in the Country, so they've had all these "ethnic heritage" nights every year when they celebrate one group or another. This is a logical jump after all the pro-LGBT sentiment in the greater culture recently.

Plus, it makes John Rocker livid.
