Now this one needs an introduction.......first, its terrible quality but its because its a legendary performance and unfortunately there isn't a lot of good Yamashita available on youtube. This was the first time anyone had ever really seen him play, but people had heard about it, and when they saw the sheet music beforehand they thought it was impossible to do.

The best player I've ever seen, maybe the fastest. Watch how he uses all kinds of unique techniques to get different sounds out of the simple nylon string to resemble the various parts of an orchestra. Retunes on the fly to allow himself to hit different notes. Nothing else like it:

Effin Dimebag Darrell.......that guy played fast! They tried to change it to "Diamond Darrell" when they were getting big in the mainstream. LOL. Not sure anyone ever worked a whammy bar like that guy....(did that sound wrong?)

Was never a big Malmsteen fan. The guy has zero restraint or subtlety to his playing......but he could fucking shred. His symphony was actually pretty decent too:

lol No that sounds ok as long as the people reading knows what a whammy bar is. Yea Diamond Darrell just wouldn't work. The thing about Dime that makes him that much cooler IMO is that not only could he just kill on guitar but he was a very nice/fun guy. His personality mixed with those guitar abilities are 2nd to none!

#1 in my book alltime...in his prime there was none better.

LZ is my all time favorite band ever. The only thing people seem to say about Jimmy Page was that he sometimes played sloppy but I think that's some of what I like about Jimmy.
