What a game i was so upset i couldnt post for the most of the game. We just couldnt get anything going at all for most of the game. Somehow we found a way pull that game out.

Glad Stoops stuck with Mayfield got a little corcerned he might with Knight in the 4th. I sitll have complete confidence in Mayfield. This offense will get a lot better as the season moves on.

It seems as though the key to beating Tennessee is to let them wear themselves out kicking your ass for 3 Qtrs, then turn on the jets.

The key is discipline. What was so maddening in the first half were the constant unnecessary penalties by the OL, shooting themselves in the foot. I mean, when they ruined that 50-something-yard pass... :L

It happened in the first half last week with Akron, too. What is frustrating is that discipline, as a matter of coaching rather than of talent, should be a correctable issue, but the o-line remained as undisciplined in the first half this week as last week. The coaches need to instill some discipline in that o-line. Can't keep relying on them to take an entire half to settle down, or the Sooners will end up digging a scoring hole too deep to get out of.
