I'll never forget when I went to the Cowboys game in Dallas and had a piss drunk Cowboys fan laugh at me and scream out "Worst Football Team." Not gonna lie, I chuckled.
There was a school system near me in Massachusetts whose teams were proudly called "The Redmen." The lefties hated the name, thought it was disrespectful and made them change it. IT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH WHATEVER THEY WERE BITCHING ABOUT! Instead, it was based on the color of the red clay that was dug from the river bed running through town, and was used for making bricks and pottery. Workers in town came home everyday covered in the clay, and had to spend a long time washing off.
how cool that would be skin emI'd like to submit this option too. Change the r to W
the lance was so coolIn 1969 the helmet had the lance. In 70 the helmet was changed to the circle R. In 1972 it was change to what was the last Redskin logo. The lance was only used from 1965-69.
I still like the idea of the lance. This is 1960s are so if they used this then maybe same idea but newer art could be cool.
i,d never seen the image above before yesterday.i love it.I still like the idea of the lance. This is 1960s are so if they used this then maybe same idea but newer art could be cool.
I don't want them to go with this. I just thought it was cool because I had never seen it. They plan to honor the Wetzle (spelling) family by using the Superbowl logo in some permanent way at FedEx according to reports.I still like the idea of the lance. that and being last in nfl sales should hasten a name change.atI don't want them to go with this. I just thought it was cool because I had never seen it. They plan to honor the Wetzle (spelling) family by using the Superbowl logo in some permanent way at FedEx according to reports.
If Harris is able to display that logo at the stadium permanently, I think that sets the table for them to put it back on the helmet.
