Still is .... 95 between DC and Richmond is a parking lot. Lucky for me if I want to to dads old area I can the back way across the 301 bridge ... then brand new 4 lane bridge.

I was in DC recently and decided to drive down to VA. Beach to visit my sister. Of course passed Stafford on 95S. That is tough sledding. I don't know how people live in Stafford and work in DC. That said, a lot of people do it everyday.

Basically, Remember the Titans was my district.

We headed North from Fredericksburg VA every summer to play Warwick HS during preseason. We usually got our azzes handed to us but always returned home with a sense of confidence having stood up to an obviously better more talented team. However that happened, our class lost 1x as sophomores and 1 other time which ironically was our senior season, last game played in semifinals. (40-2) in 4 seasons. As Jr/Sr (25-1).

You had an olympian come out of that school I knew dad. Diver named Mark Lenzi. Also a very good wrestler.

Should have take 17 to I-64 but even that is way more crowded than in my Navy days.
