so is Kennedy's contract a 2 way deal? Did they do this so he can get called up?
Kennedy was on an AHL only contract prior to signing the NHL contract today. It's most likely a two way contract that way they only have to pay him $105k to play in the AHL instead of a full contract amount. With this new contract he had to be placed on waivers before he could play for Worcester again.
