whatever happens from here forward- Delly has earned himself a nice paycheck in the offseason.

Curry- the proclaimed "best shooter in NBA history" was 0-8 with 3 turnovers when Delly covered him. No matter what BS people want to try and create there is simply no denying that he stepped up big time and shut down the reigning MVP on his home floor and without that performance by Delly there is no way the Cavs go home having secured home court advantage.

Great playing by the former Rugby playing Aussie. Maybe Curry could learn a thing or two about playing with toughness- all though- in your first Finals appearance you are bound to be on edge.

Worse than just having an "off game" (which everybody has), Curry just didn't adjust. He knew he wasn't hot and usually, you'll either (a) recognize that and get better shots or (b) set up your teammates. He did neither and just kept heaving up quick 3's. The Warriors never got into any sort of offensive rhythm.

Give the Cavs credit for some really good D, but the Warriors in general (and Curry in particular) did not adjust very well to the game as it progressed.

I couldn't agree more. But honestly, if the Cavs FO were smart they wouldn't have given up Wiggins. Just imagine...Love is out and they've been winning without him. And now Kyrie is out. Wiggins is a guard and could've filled that role nicely.

Who's to say Olynyk doesn't yank Wiggins arm out of its socket? You can't compare a healthy Wiggins with an injured Love.

At this point any NBA starter would be awesome to have for depth... but lets not make rookie Wiggins out to be some all-star caliber player.

Don't use that as an excuse. There are plenty of defenders that fall short in regards to height and weight and can still make a difference. How Iggy on LBJ?? Don't let that be the reason.

What are you talking about? :L Igodala is what.. 6'6 220? You're comparing Delly's mismatch on Klay to Iggy on Bron?

Lord how many years were you a water boy? Short guys have a hard time guarding a guy 6'5 . Curry is 6'3 and skinny. And you are comparing him to Bron? Not to mention Iggy is not a short guy.

 This is funny. I am guessing you just started as a bball fan and GS fan as well? Just a guess

My best guess is LAD is referring to Speights running over Delly from behind after his embarrasing missed dunk.

That, was of course, a dirty evil plan by Delly to get run over so Speights would get injured. :L

Yeah I thought the drama was a bit thick on that one.

Delly wrapped Taj's legs up yeah. Grabbed him so he couldn't do anything. That's what guys at 6' do. That's all they can do. Notice the flagrant foul went to Taj btw.

If that's dirty then, i'll just continue to laugh at you. Good thing you weren't around when the game was actually physical.
And i guess they give out flagrant fouls for nothing. You're really reaching now. just stop while you're ahead! LOL

yea, well, take out the warriors 2nd and 3rd best players/leading scorers, and see how they do........ the Cleveland curse is alive and well.

sucks they don't have Kyrie and Love, would be a hell of a series with both teams near full strength.

seriously. One team has all their players and the other team is missing their 2nd, 3rd, and probably 5th/6th best players in Irving, Love Varejao

Imagine if the tables were turned- take Klay, Green, Speights off of GS and have them face a full Cavs team and this series is the most pathetically one sided Finals in NBA history. Everyone knows that. Everyone knows the Cavs only have a chance because they have Bron. No other team in the NBA could withstand losing the quality of players the Cavs have lost. I loved Jacksons and Van Gundys comments to one of the passes Bron made to Shumpert that got him a 3- no one else in the NBA could have made that pass- and it is 100% true. LeBron does things that Steph Curry could only dream of. Only reason LeBron is not MVP is because of the time he missed and voter fatigue.

The flagrant went to Taj man. Goodness. Delly didn't get one.

No one is ahead. You are just about 20 years behind

Delly did not get a flagrant foul.

Gibson and Horford deservedly got their flagrant fouls.

It's easy to make a case for the last turnover ... but, it's not a good one I think.

There was precious little time on the clock. SC wasn't going to get anywhere near a 3 point line, so unless he wants to heave it from mid-court he needed to bounce ahead to CT who was a bit closer. The pass just were in reach of someone else but to push it up was a good idea I think. Was he off last night - sure - but not even the airball is the best measure of that. LBJ tossed up one in the last game but I think his numbers were anything but off (even IF they did lose that game).

And something else...

As bad as Curry was, you have to put a LOT of blame on Kerr, for not going AWAY from Curry and continuing to run the offense through Klay Thompson.

The last shot should have gone to Klay, who was having a very good one-on-one night. With JR out of the game and Shumpert on Klay, they should have gotten the ball in the hands of Klay very early and allowed him to go one on one against Shumpert.

Other than that, Kerr should have told sat Curry a lil longer and continued to ride the hot hand of Klay.

I understand that Curry is the league MVP but sometimes as a coach, you have to know when your star player just does not have it and run your offense through someone else.

Spoletra did it with Wade a few times during their championship run and Phil Jackson did it with MJ against Portland.

No offense to the Cavs, but there is no way that they should have beaten the Warriors at HOME!! Curry gave that game away with bad shot after bad shot and Kerr showed how inexperienced of a coach he was by allowing Curry to take bad shot after bad shot.

Bottom line,

Warriors adjust and Curry adjusts in game 3. When he plays more selfless bball and moves the ball, the Warriors are tough. Cleveland has been playing great D almost the entire playoffs, this is nothing new.

I think we will see GS more discipline on their offensive possessions and we will see if Cleveland can keep playing great D. Golden St is definitely the deeper team and Kerr has to play his bench to wear down the Cavs.

The Cavs need to keep the pace slow and get good looks on offense.

I think it will be a really good series as it has been.

No what I'm saying is your team would have DEPTH had they not traded away a perfectly healthy player. Thus, we wouldn't have to keep hearing how depleted this team is.

^^^THIS^^^

When he actually drove to the hoop, he did well. He put a move on Delly late in the game (can't remember if it was late in the 4th quarter or in OT) where he made Delly look like he was stuck in a revolving door and got an uncontested layup.

He needed to do more of that. Instead, he just kept chucking 3's.

Exactly.

I can accept Kyrie going down with his injury that had no malicious cause, but with Love, I'm still PO'd.... I'd like to meet that fucking celtic in an alley with a baseball bat. bastard. :mad2:

Imagine how Hawks fans felt after Korver and Horford went out.
