Plus, wasnt it Irving covering Curry most of the game, at least early on? I cant remember.

Yes, Shumpert was guarding Klay. Kyrie did a pretty good job on Curry for being hobbled IMO

I do think they could of managed his Mins better but I agree their wasn't many options.

I don't know how. Being needed for 44+ minutes because other guys aren't stepping up is what it is. It's the finals, managing minutes kind of goes out the window. You gotta play the guys that are most likely to get you the win, regardless of how many they have to play.

Did you watch the game?? The Cavs gave this one to GS. You do actually realize that they were literally about an inch away on Shumpert's last second shot from winning, right?? I give credit to GS for their resilience, and in the end it won them the game, but you're a fool if you think they weren't very lucky to be in that situation in OT to even get to that point.
So why did it take the King over 4 1/2 minutes to score 2 points in O/T...you know since the Dubs were so lucky to get to O/T???? I'll wait..............

LOL if believing that the Cavs gave this one away helps ease the pain, then by all means you think that. But, Hahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahaahahahaha.

I wonder what you will say when they win 3 more and walk away with the trophy.

It doesn't help anything, it makes it worse because we were the better team. The better team doesn't always win, though. If you guys win, good for you and I hope you enjoy the trophy. I know the Cavs will be right back here next year and hopefully we won't be so banged up so we can also be playing with all of our pieces like GS.

So, like LAD, did you also not watch the game? Cleveland was in control. Several posters on here that are fans of neither team have even said they felt as if Cleveland was going to win this one in regulation. It was literally an inch away.

I watched every minute.
The Cavs controlled the first 12. Period.

The Cavs were also an inch away from being down 2 (Kyrie made a great block on Curry ) with a few second to go.

Cavs had the last shot, so obliviously with James, people felt they could win in regulation.

Luckily, he did what he does so often and settled for a ridiculous jump shot vs trying to attack the basket.

Well GS has played great but in each round the opponent didnt have their PG at some point. Injuries are part of the game, but yes GS is lucky in that factor. They have been injury free.

Any Bulls, Spurs, Thunder, or Pacers fans that want to step in and give some friendly advice to our Warriors fans about getting cocky after taking Game 1 from LeBron?

Ask Thunder fans how that worked out.

I've never said anything about OT. Golden State shut us down in OT, no argument there whatsoever. That has never been part of my point...

Yea...shoulda, woulda, coulda. But, in the end your al mighty King made a bad choice and cost them the game. So, the Warriors were lucky the 'best player' in basketball's IQ temporarily shrunk for those quick 24 seconds or so??? Hahahahahahaha this is just too funny.

It definitely felt like a Cavs win for the majority of regulation.

Yeah, thought the Cavs were gonna steal this one until about midway through the 4th quarter. Then I started thinking it could go either way.

Once it went to OT, I figured the Cavs were done. Even if Kyrie doesn't get hurt, I think GSW still wins. Cavs were spent.

Yeah, this was basically my mindset the whole way. I was hopeful in OT, obviously, but didn't feel great about it. Never want to go into OT on the road against a team with much better depth.

That play had nothing to do with luck. That was an amazing play that the Cavs earned. The final shot from Shump, though, was not contested. He was just a hair short and it ended up making the difference in the game.

I don't disagree with your part about Lebron. There's no reason for that sort of stupid shot. He should've driven and I have to think if he could do it over, that's what he does. I had no idea what was going through his head.

Man, no shit. Good point. purguy and me were talking about that earlier, it's unreal how they fell off.

I know lots of bad call happen, but how do you call a travel on Mozgov there. A minute left and he gets dunk off of a good move. Pathetic call that could have changed the game.

Right, cause I guess in Cavs fans eyes the game ended when regulation did as it did for the team as well.

Here's a couble dubs fans:

I wonder what you will say when they win 3 more and walk away with the trophy.

And anyone who watched GS could tell you they didnt play at their best. Non-biased folks will tell you Cavs are lucky GS started slow
