Only if Performance Enhancing Drugs come with him and add the Jet Stream with his upper cut swing. I know I will catch flak but lets face it, Juan Gone, Raffy, even my favorite Pudge were dealing in the stuff. Once that started to die down so did Rudy. The only hitting coach I really like was Hurdle. And once again it was because he had a PLAN.
Most who are fans today's hitting philosophies fads would not like Rudy. To imply that his success as a hitting coach was due to steroids is an easy attack on his abilities, but I think it is unfair. The truth is steroids were prevalent throughout baseball and not just on this team. Rudy stood out amongst his peers and those peers had hitters using the stuff as well.

Let's hope this trend continues.

Lewis (1-2, 3.00 ERA) is 4-0 with a 1.73 ERA over his last six starts against the Astros, winning all three of his starts in Houston behind a 1.33 ERA.

Fair enough but I feel Rudy would fail with this current team as he did with the Cubs.

Did not know anything about this but agree with TAG 100%. I wish the media would quit with halftime interviews in basketball and football and dugout interviews. It has no place in the game.

Rangers announcer Tom Grieve explains partner Steve Busby calling out Derek Holland's dugout antics | Dallas Morning News

I missed this. Don't like in game interviews ... and Holland is sure to be a goof-ball. He's 28 and often acts like he's still back in community college. A guy who has logged 38.0IP last two seasons needs to focus on getting back on the mound and earn the salary he's making.

If Deduno gave up 2 walks in the 1st inning I don't think his control going south now was because of a HR.

I'll take that ground out from DeShields every time under those circumstances.
