You know, I always critique fans at games when they're excessively quiet...but if I'm being honest, I'm always quiet at games. I mean, I cheer for goals, get in on chants, "talk" to players, but I'm not overly loud or anything. Can't really fault them.

EDIT: my reasoning is typically nervous tension by the way. I can't focus on cheering or anything when I'm watching a game.

If I'm drunk, I am LOUD.

If I'm sober, I'm somewhat reserved but still full of shouts.

While I get being quiet, I can't fully understand it...but if your kid can't make it through a game, they're probably too young or disinterested to spend $90 on. If traffic is your excuse you're a joke. It's Pittsburgh. You *may* have to wait 20 minutes. Or you can just, you know, wait until everyone basically leaves the arena.
