His back wasn't turned either. If you call every time a guy is hit in that space you'll be making a lot of calls, and guys will just camp out there with the puck, knowing that if hit it's a call. The rule has an obvious purpose, just don't think it's being used in that sense tonight...

Yeah, the last call was weaker than the call on Kunitz...the Kunitz one I can see because they were both skating at a good clip and Kunitz hits/pushes him hard in to the board as he overtakes him.

the first thing you learn as a kid when they introduce hitting to the game, is if you are going to absorb a hit, be right on the boards.
worse place is 3 feet away, because then you get three points of contact... the guy, the boards, the ice.
