GNT | Leafs @ Pens | Home Opener

Pretty predictable. On a high after two solid road games over rivals, and then a home opener let-down over an expected non-contender. Leafs always give Pens trouble though. A few things that stood out:

- I've been watching to see which Fleury we'd get this season, but I can't fault him in that game. Traffic, interference, bad bounces, turnovers, etc...
- Kunitz has had a slow start. Definitely should have tied it up in this game.
- Shocked that Sid and Geno didn't create a goal together at even strength, they were scary.
- Geno can't make that turnover. High risk, low reward play by him.
- Tangredi... I know he's bad, but either give him a top 6 shot or don't. He's not going to improve if he doesn't get the minutes. And if he still doesn't improve, at least you know he's hopeless.

That was a day before the game. There's been plenty of ribbing/jokes. If you read the article it's not as bad as the title leads you to think. But it's still pretty presumptuous.

Yeah, that article was horrible. Coincidentally, so is the writer.

I've been to HABS home playoff game (a few actually) and the atmosphere is unlike anything else I've seen. Granted, haven't been to a game in Pittsburgh, but from the TV, Consol sounds pretty quiet. I bet Mellon was more fun.
