Paul George is a closer comp IMO, but I think most of us saw Scottie play, either first hand or via tape/highlights. Athletic wing, shutdown defender, with 3 point range. Giannis is just developing his jumper; he's not in Scottie territory yet and is much taller.

Rice was better IMO. He would have a buttload of rings too if he played with the GOAT. So that means nothing. Basketball is a team game.. Obviously you're gonna win a shit ton of 'ships playing 2nd fiddle to MJ for 10-11 years.


Rice would have also been a better player playing 2nd fiddle to Jordan because he challenged his team to be better every day in practice.

Rice you have put more effort in on the defensive end playing alongside MJ and he would have made Jordan's life much easier on offense because he was a much better offensive player than Pippen was.

I’d say Kawhi. Both top in the league on defense at SF for their time. Scottie would get you 18-20/ ppg but in today’s league? 22-24/ game sure. Lebron is better than Scottie and Kawhi, but not by a lot imo.

Years Mike was gone Pippen did well but not good enough to beat Pat Riley’s Knicks.
People not taking the different eras into the equation don’t understand how defenses are a lot different today
