Another solution: If you are at a party or bar and he looks to start trouble, get everyone's specific attention, pull out a wad of cash, and say $600 (or whatever amount) to the first man who lays this jackass out cold! You might end up having to pay 2-3 guys but it is better than spitting out teeth and coughing up blood.
