What's your take(s) on managers coming out to argue calls? Obviously no umpire has ever changed his mind...so the theory is the manager is saying 'you missed it, give us a break on the next one'...but do they ever do that?

I guess it's also 'supporting your player'. So, it's kabuki theater.

Nice!! Vogelsong is throwing darts again. It may not look it because there's been some traffic and the pitch count is up, but I credit that to a pretty good Reds lineup. I don't know their season stats but this is definitely one of the better offensive teams the Giants have seen this year.
