Timmeh at 40 + pitches in the 2nd inning; Phish pitcher at 24 THROUGH 2. Timmeh also has a history of having trouble in the heat.

Keppy hits HR = good. No one on base = bad. First pitch swinging = bad.

I fully acknowledge I am in full-fledged pant-shat mode, but I do not like our chances in this game given all of this.

Really!?!?! Our cleanup hitter has 7 RBI's in 26 games? I can't even count how many men he has left on base.

So yeah, he's hitting almost .300. But I would take a .240 BA with 30 RBI's over a .300 BA with 7 RBI's.

Just sayin'.

Ross has a hit zone the size of a pea right now. He lets balls go on the outside corner, lays off pitches on the inside corner, and when he swings he's either way out in front or way late.

I can't remember the last time an "everyday player" struggled to this level.

Giants leadoff position is a black hole.

Batting leadoff, Ross is now hitting .200 (2 for 10) on the year.

Rowand is hitting .258/.306 (so while I despise his batting stance and constant fishing for the low outside breaking ball, he might not be a bad choice.

Geez, fellas, at least take enough pitches for your pitcher to have some sort of a breather between innings, huh?
