GDT: Sharks @ Stars - March 15, 5:30 PDT

when the sharks try their best and play hard and are executing, they are a very good team. But that happens far too rarely, and they havent put together nearly any 60 minute games and they havent dominated a game in, like, forever.

They have been god awful again this game, and their D is killing them offensively again....

Anyone else completely underwhelmed with Ian White? Maybe I was hoping for the double digit goal scorer who could add serious scoring threat and I top pairing Dman, but his zero goals thus far and minimal offensive contributions simply show how incredibly glaring the sharks difficiencies are.

Boyle: no gaols in 12 games (Feb 8th)
Demers: 0 goals in 18 games (Feb 2)
White: none
Vlasic: 0 goals in 37 games (Feb 18)
Huskins: last goal was Feb 13th
Wallin: o goals in 42 games (Dec. 15th)
Murray: 0 goals in the last 38 (Dec 9th)

There are your top 7 sharks Defense! ZERO goals in over a month! The only Dman is a goal in the last month is braun, who has a grand total of 1. (his only goal in his last 19 games).

Adn you guys really think this team has half a chance against vancouver or chicago in a 7 game series?

As long as they are creating offense. Weather they are the ones putting the puck in the net matters very little.

Of course niemi bails the team out after their post goal nap.... They are up 4-2 right now, but have not been very good. They got a gift 5 on 3 and pavs created two goals nearly singlehandedly. They need the points to at least delay vancouver or chicago till the 2nd round, but this is anything but nice.


then ott misses the EN... sharks stink... lucky to be ahead... or even in the game for that matter.

rules, I gotta say that I have been pleasantly pleased with White's play. To me, he is like a mini-Boyle in almost every aspect. Skating, passing, shooting, all a notch below Boyle imo. Even defensively he is on par with Boyle. His partner has been, yes, Wallin. The same Wallin that required Vlasic to cover so much for him that Vlasic was pointless in like 20(?) games to start the season.

The one guy that has tailed off is Wellwood. He was very good during the honeymoon period, but has tailed off. Now he just seems like he gets too cute with the puck and ends up losing it most times.

You knew the Power plays were coming for Dallas after the Sharks got the first three power plays. That was a terrible call on Marleau.

Heatley is a fucking idiot at 7.5 million per year he is slowly but surely becoming my least favorite player on the team. Sure he scores some points but he is so uninspiring out there sometimes and most of the time he looks disengaged.
