Haven't seen it posted, but Niners draw John Parry's officiating crew. Parry made the reverse-chop call in the Baltimore game. Grrrrrrrrrrr...

Actually, I think Calamity on p4 last entry made the first note that they were the officiating crew. They better have some make up calls for us
thank you Smackdown......
Darn Crimson, taking credit of my work.... AGAIN!!!!
Its the blog affect haha j/k
damn so i hear all media are shut out of practice, stretching and walkthroughs today? ohhhh boy-working on the secret plays? Soaps td pass?
I bet we see a gameplan like the giants game. Not saying they will abandon the run but i feel we may pass quite a bit.
I expect a trick play or something sneaky, its harbaugh come on haha

I think they are going to be counting on worried about us shortening the game and exploiting their run defense so I believe this is one of those games I do believe you call it in reverse so to speak.
If I'm calling the game I'm hitting them early with play action, high percentage short to medium passes, and rollouts to put them on their heels a bit than hammer them with Frank Gore. This will help nullify their blitzing a bit if we hit them with passes on running downs and keep it 3rd and under 5 so Smith can just get rid of the ball quickly and get a 1st down.
The key is to get the completions though because we want to milk the clock because a pass for 3 yards makes the clock run just as fast if you handed it off and got 3 yards.

when they do start to pass, like this thinking too. the other reason is to 'settle' down Alex Smith, understandably he'll be a little "jittery". having him complete his first few is good.

I don't see him being "jittery" in this one.
You never know how people are going to react in the playoffs until they actually play in these win or go home games. My hope is that since all season long the coaching staff was treating every game as a must-win, somewhat simulating the playoff atmosphere, the players won't be jittery... as they have been treating every game as their most important of the season.
