I have a connector, but it didn't work w/ MLBtv. This also does not solve the issue of my losing access to the iPad during the game.

I have done some research, and it looks like both roku and ps3 are pretty crappy with MLBtv. Maybe I can hook up my desktop to my tv and feed it that way...

Seems a huge waste to not be able to use the ps3, though. BIG disappointment.

Are you going with a wireless router? Maybe a LAN cable would help? I'm no IT expert, just throwing ideas around

Yeah, that would be the first thing I'd try - go with a wired >100mbs connection.
