Exactly. The defense couldn't get off the field on third down in the first half, WR couldn't get open all day, and Alex Smith came up real small in the fourth quarter and overtime. It's not just on Williams.

We passed too much and it wasn't against the blitz so coverage by NYG looked good.

Very proud of this team. Offensively flawed but amazing defense and special teams with the exception of the Ginn injury.

Imagine a full year of preparation with this coaching staff and adding more talent at the skill positions..

I'm sooo proud of our team and to be a fan of the 49ers... we win as one and lose as one....

We have such an amazing defense, truly Championship caliber..... our offense was capable of being a threat when need be....

What an exciting, thrilling and amazing year 1 under coach harbaugh, can't wait for more.

I can't say I'm not disappointed. Can't say I'm not disgusted. But fuck, I didn't think we'd be in this place to start with. In one year a new coach took us to the NFC Championship with Smith as our QB and no off season workouts. I've been pumped all season long! When was the last time we had this much fun on a message board? It's been years. Tonight I'm bummed out and the vodka is going down faster but I'm very optimistic about our future. I can't wait to see what Harbaugh can do in the off season. The future looks bright again.....we'll be in the NFC Championship again soon.
