Oh well, a 5-1 loss but who cares. Hockey is back in Winnipeg where it belongs
Pleks and Price with good games. Injuries piling up though.
I wouldn't want Marchand on my team, I didn't like Lapierre when he was here and Marchand may be worse.

I know they "updated" us about the Cam injury as lower body...no shit. Anybody heard anything about severity?
Grats on the win Comeds. Habs are going to be a tough team again this year, even with all the injuries.
Judging by the comments in here, is it fair to say that Winnipeg got thrashed?
They changed the City's name to Trytowinnipeg.
All I have heard is a two week timetable mentioned but they didn't say the extent of the injury.
I thought I heard them say before the game that all the officials were from Manitoba. They probably tried too hard not to appear as homers trying to help the Jets win their 1st game, and overcompensated bigtime. It was a 4 goal game but that call on Buff after they just made it 2-1 really took the wind out of their sails. Good job by Montreal to capitalize and never look back.
CDN's twitter site just said neither injury was serious.
there, that's narrowed it down for you.
I have my doubts but I hope you're right. I think they need to score more than they did last year. They play Martin's system but they often do it really poorly and give up a ton of shots. Last season if Price was merely average in a game they usually lost, it may be the same way this year. Really impressive performance from him IMO in a tough situation.
