Does anyone see the Rockies bouncing back in 2012 - god they have looked awful the last two series!!

Hard to win in the NL with subpar pitching.

Alright, I did some research:

The Rocks already have roughly $70 million in payroll for 2012. Their payroll this year was $82 million. So...not a ton of money to spend. And who do they spend it on?

Not sure how their minor league teams did this year, but going into 2011 they had none of the top 40 rated players in their system.

*Wait...They got Drew Pomeranz in the Ubaldo deal. Supposed to be a stud.

In short, no. Then again, who would have thought the D-Backs would be any good this year?

So is Baby trying to save the G's about 11M next year? He is doing his absolute best to dissuade the G's from going after Rollins or Reyes.

Someone needs to break down his new batting stance.

As far as I can tell: he's taking a more direct approach to the ball/less loop in the swing. But what the hell do I know...

So is Baby trying to save the G's about 11M next year? He is doing his absolute best to dissuade the G's from going after Rollins or Reyes.

Apparently, we're going to be in the bidding for Hiroyuki Nakajima (SS). All I know is that he is supposed to be a star in Japan, but so were a lot of guys who came over here from the NBP and did nothing but shit the bed.

Nishoka, who the Twins dropped Hardy for, was supposed to be a stud, but has been pretty underwhelming so far.

Dunno how I feel about shelling out 10mil+ for the posting fee, and another 3/15 deal to sign the guy on top of that.
