Missed the thread tonight, family stuff.

We have the best pitching I've seen on any team in many years. And thank god because without Torres (and even with him) we need it.

When Velez hot dogged that pop up I almost killed a hobo with my bare hands.

Posey swinging at that pitch around his eyes with the bases loaded like Panda sucked too, but I think he made up for it.

My indelible memory is the 4/19 game at Petco. Bottom of the sixth and Uselez plays a Kyle Blanks single, maaaaaybe double into a leadoff "triple." We lost in extras on Eckfarts HR. Blanks scored on a sac fly. Guess who was pitching?

I was sitting down the LF line. And yes, Uselez heard me.

I HATE that guy.

I told him he was useless and should be back in Fresno. I was pretty pissed, because I was there with a friend who is a Padre season ticket holder and told her beforehand how uneasy ("unEZ??") AU made me.

Felt I HAD to sack up and abuse him at that point. Painted into a corner.

I kind of feel bad for the guy. It's not really his fault Bochy keeps putting him in positions where he is going to embarrass himself. Not that I think you were wrong to get on him.

Both are good calls, GP. I felt bad immediately afterward as AU seems like a really good kid, the type of guy you HOPE your sister brings home. However, as a ballplayer he's a tragic fucking disaster and thus must be abused.
