I'm just saying you can't really be too annoyed that Bochy didn't leave the bunt on with two strikes.

People always say that about major leaguers, but it doesn't seem to change the fact that a lot of them can't bunt at all.

I wasn't annoyed, and I understand that a lot of major leaguers can't bunt (which should be unacceptable, but isn't). The "harp on Bochy" part was to let Stokesy know that we would not have any disagreement about the merits of that being a bunt situation. I still think he should've left the call on, and though that last pitch wasn't a strike, it could've easily been bunted by bending the knees (the main part of bunting that most major leaguers ignore and make the process infinitely easier).

Obviously, Bochy knows more about baseball than any of us, but I wish he would've seen that call through.

sorry for the late reply but we don't have a #2 hitter. They're both hurt. We get a 8th place guy who happens to hit second.
