The ATL announcers said that strike 3 on Cabrera was "All over the strikezone"...

Why? He squared up to bunt, but completely missed the ball.

Stokes and I were going back and forth the other day about situations where a bunt call is smart, and where it doesn't make sense. I only saw the last two pitches of OC's at bat. Either way, he is a professional baseball player and should be able to put down a bunt, even with two strikes, umpjacked or not. I say leave the call on. Worst-case scenario: he strikes out, which he did anyway.

O'Cab, big time umpjacking

If Timmy gets those calls, it is going to be a long, miserable day for the Braves.

As I recall, you won that debate. :fencing:

I'm just saying you can't really be too annoyed that Bochy didn't leave the bunt on with two strikes.

People always say that about major leaguers, but it doesn't seem to change the fact that a lot of them can't bunt at all.

Nate just got screwed. A ball at the ankles called for a strike
