How's it going guys?

I like the Baby Giraffe nickname. Funny stuff. My only concern is that this is yet another way for the organization to sell cheesy merchandise at the ballpark. We already have a freaking Panda; please don't start selling giraffe hats and stuffed animals for $25 bucks a pop.

And I know we would have called Beltran a pussy, but I wish he would have been more conservative on that play in right.

Kinda takes a little off him helping us with the HR.

He was shading triples alley, not sure if Ross woulda got it...however, Ross wouldn't have dropped to the ground like a sack of shit and given up a run.

Maybe Ms. Beltran will start to think about LF....I predicted he'd want to play there at home once he got a load of how hard it is to play RF at PacBell.

That makes the Belt situation that much more of a mess.

They showed him earlier, being super friendly with the fans, smiling, posing for pictures.

Don't tell TrueNiners/Tommy this but could there be any more (additional) anecdotal evidence that he was a huge roider? The surliness is gone, he's svelte and his head is back to sub-Bochy size...

:panda: with a poor AB, none of those five pitches were in the strike zone, but he swung at three of them. The other two were closer to the Padres dugout than they were to the plate. (Though he did splash the first high pitch foul.)

CF: Torres/Ross
2B: Keppinger
LF: Beltran
3B: Sandoval
1B: Belt
RF: Schierholtz
SS: Crawford
C: Stewart

+1 that does kinda look nice, add Hernandez a C and find a serviceable CF/leadoff to add to the Ross Torres battle and I think you'd have something there.

Hernandez would cerainly make Crawford a real option.
