Seems to me we also allowed the Bucs to beat us like a drum not too long ago. Just love for Steel Town here. Except if you play the 49ers in the Super Bowl.

Remember that game a few years ago when the Reds came back from 8 runs down to beat us in Cincy? And a certain Mouse poster who shall not be named posted that "no team can come back from a loss like that"?

Perhaps payback would be nice. Like, tonight.

You mis-remember the details of that game. We came back from a HUGE deficit (I want to say 10 runs, but I don't remember exactly) to force extras only to lose it in the 10th or 11th. That was the same night Roy Oswald played in the OF for the 'stros.

And we have three lousy runs to show for it.

Reds have 13 hits and 6 walks in 9 innings, (WHIP of 2.11) and they have 8 runs.

I guess when you hit is as important as just hitting.

Pencil is 5-5 but has only come up with a man on once.

BB9 and Frenchy are 2-9 with a walk, and have come up with men on base every time, and have jointly left 12 stranded.

I am actually thinking of just not logging in for a while. We bought a house, and will be moving (across town) in a few weeks. Lots to do other than vent at the woebegon Giants. And hey, remember what happened the last time I disappeared from the board.
