Everyone reactions is just awesome. Catcher knew it right away and walked away dejected, Latos never even peeked at the flight, and Posey, who never takes it slow out of the box to admire is work, broke his rule just this once because it was so damn sweet.

They were defiantly pissed and needed to take out their anger this season.

We'll always have 2010 and 2012 for sure
But 2013, she done.

maybe you're right

But what I see are two championships already cashed in and an extreme longshot to get back into this year.

I just lol at all the times the Giants were "done" in 2010 and 2012. I heard so many Giants fans say that there was no way they were coming back blah blah blah

If they get eliminated, so be it, but I'm not calling it until its official (or at least end of August)

The reason I posted Posey's slam off Latos was because the Giants were "done" in that series too.

Nothing from their play is inspiring this, though. They look like shiet

I don't post here much (as a new guy from the CBS boards, I have not really found a rhythm on this board), but I just wanted to say that you regulars on here are a very entertaining bunch.

I live in SoCal, so this surge by the blue at the same time as the downward spiral from the Giants has been painful, to say the least. I have the Extra Innings package, so I watch the Giants every night....and I have to say, they just look dead in the water to me. Tired......uninspired......and beat down.

That being said....It's noting a little 10-2 stretch can't fix. It ain't over yet.......a day off and then the Cubbies.

Go Giants!

We all realize that a decent 2 weeks will turn it all around.

The prob is that this team has shown zero evidence that it is capable of putting together 2 good weeks, then coasting to a .550 clip the rest of the way. Asking them to go .500 the rest of the season is a tall order.

I was in South Pasadena for 28 years, until moving to Modesto a year ago. I loved being so close to Dodger Stadium, we could be in our seats 15 minutes from home. I never quite figured out whether it was better in 2010 for the Giants to win the WS so I could give carp to my Dodger friends while I was in SoCal, or in 2012 when they won and I celebrated with my Giants' friends.

Welcome to the board!

The other problem is that with that mythical 10-2 mark, the Dogs would have to go 2-10. At this rate, with their team healthy and on a roll, that seems unlikely. Dagnabit!

One of the main reasons this board ever came into fruition in the first place was because we were "done" in 2010.

Should be an interesting upcoming week, but things need to change soon.

Looking at your teams, it would seem you have a thing for the color orange. :)

LOL....I have been accused of that. Grew up in Orange County too.

It really had everything to do with being a kid who grew up watching too much Sportscenter and spending his allowance on sports cards. My parents are from Philly and I had no reason to like the local teams. So I ended up as a fan of Will Clark, John Elway and Karl Malone (I list Cuse because I like college hoops far more than the Nothing But Actors.) When those guys retired or left, I never changed teams.

And yes, I have quite a bit more orange clothing than the average fan. lol

Agreed. No disrespect intended.

I am just a hopeless homer, at times.....just tryin' to change the mojo a bit.

Thanks for the welcome!

I work with a bunch of Dodger fans. They feel like these 2 months recently = bragging rights. I so want to chase them down in September.

I am engaged to a Phillies fan. The '10 NLCS was quite fun in our house......lol.....she was not happy when I removed my Giants shirt from under the cushion of her "lucky chair", when I got home from work after the day game. Classic.....lol
