A strikeout there is just an out. And WAY better than a DP. With guys at 1st and 2nd you can't really advance them realistically.

Finally a real AB. He did swing at ball 4.

Saw a lot of pitches. Just no luck. Or only AAAA talent.

He keeps hitting them in the air, and that totally nullifies his best asset, his speed.

I am also a little nervous about this, but for all Bochy's failings, he does manage the pen pretty well. Sure miss BWeezy, though. Even with all the drama.

Oh I agree he's the best option we have. But in really close games or playoff games it might be a weakness.

OK. By allowing Padres runners to take 2nd on "defensive indifference", we've now allowed two runs to score. What the heck?!?

Maybe holding runners on isn't such a bad idea after all.

I guess what really set us apart in 2010 was hands down the best pen in the game. Now, not so much. They're good but not great.
