Zito has pitched some gems this season. He is over .500 in W-L. His ERA is under 5. I'd take that from a 5th starter all the time. Not for that salary, of course....

Completely agree, he's having his best year ever as a Giant and is finally the 'best 5th starter in the league' was all hoped he could be.

Just giving props to Noggin for a good hunch, and to counterbalance all of gp's points about his bad year. Bochy's not Zito's.
