Pitchers: MadBum vs Wolf

Hopefully, with the Brewers outburst for 16 runs yesterday, they are too tired to hit or run today.

Since Giants are facing a lefty, I would guess this lineup.

Shark, rf
Stamos, ss
Melkman, lf
Posey, c
Oxy, cf
Pill, 1b
Kobe, 3b
Burriss, 2b
MadBum, p

It's easier to hope Freddy Sanchez gets better soon but seems less likely

I, personally, am hoping for the Nate for Uggla trade to go through (with Atlanta picking up the bulk of Uggla's contract, of course)

Franchez will not get any closer to SF than San Jose. He will play two games, tweak something, then go on rehab for another two weeks. Wash. Rinse. Repeat.

Uggla (as long as we are fantasizing, why not?) would be an adventure in the field, but he hits homers and drives in runs. He has a good OBP of .361, too. He'd never fit in here.

He'd fit in fine. Once he dons the French vanilla his OBP immediately drops to .315

Here's the lineup:

Shark CF
Stamos SS
Melkman LF
Gerald C
Chipmunk 1B
Kobe 3B
Nate RF
Culby 2B
Bum SP

I think you'd have been 8/9 if Oxy weren't sick. Culby in instead of Mangina.

4-1 good guys.

So many extremely likely scenarios, so little time!

I still vote for talking Jeff Kent out of retirement.

Maybe Teh Lord, too, if he could play first base.

We would certainly see a lot of teams trying to hit to the right side of the infield... and at least one mid-game fist fight from that side of the diamond.

Joe Morgan may be available.
