We forgot to mention Pedroia and Youkilis to the Giants for Zito, Nate and Burriss.

It's easier to hope Freddy Sanchez gets better soon but seems less likely

Franchez will not get any closer to SF than San Jose. He will play two games, tweak something, then go on rehab for another two weeks. Wash. Rinse. Repeat.

Uggla (as long as we are fantasizing, why not?) would be an adventure in the field, but he hits homers and drives in runs. He has a good OBP of .361, too. He'd never fit in here.

He'd fit in fine. Once he dons the French vanilla his OBP immediately drops to .315
