My thought about a recent defensive alignment has come to pass (Flores at 1st) but not completely (Wade should be in left field and Pederson at dh). Would someone slap Kapler for every time he puts a knucklehead defensive alignment out there?

Of the 49 players picked in the 1st round or 1st round supplemental 2009 draft, 3 are on rosters of tonight's two teams. However, only one is not on the IL (Grichuk). Can anyone name the other two?

Also, the Giants have had 8 of the top 31 picks in that draft play in either the farm or the big leagues. Only one was drafted by them.

Hmm, I wouldn't agree about the last month (he wasn't that good in July) but he's done well so far in August, but that's been in shorter stints.
