Soler has been struggling to start the season, yet he still has about an .850 OPS. What is this guy going to do when he heats up?

Never fun to start the season rough...but the Dodgers are who they are right now. Glad we don't play them 19 times anymore

Giants are not going to be an overwhelming powerhouse, they will have ups and downs and hopefully get to the high 80s in wins.

One run losses hurt a little extra...

After tonight his OPS is .987...he's no longer struggling (7 games in changes fast lol)

Yup. I’m hopeful too that the new guys keep hitting and we can replace guys like Yaz with Matos. We were never gonna catch the Dodgers anyway, just got to be a wild card. Still duck the fodgers.

Lotta possible upside at various positions, that's our fandom now, no locks but reasonable hopes

It is early in the season, so we need to remind ourselves that things can change quickly. It is, however, disconcerting to see so many pitchers having early season struggles. Hope that turns around quickly.

Going through that doggie gauntlet is not a normal test for any pitcher. I don’t even have any red flags getting off the shelf getting ready to go up the pole yet. And I won’t be even slightly concerned for AT LEAST another week (after the next doggie series).

It’s still early, two close games not a bad sign. Pitching a little concerning but again it is early, I think they will work it out.

Have to agree with everyone else. Still early and we lost 2 close games to LA. They are a very tough team all the time.

A little patience with this rotation may go a long way. If everyone gets healthy it has the possibility to be the best in the Majors.
