Alex smith stats in the red zone are insane. This year not so much.

On another topic. Gotta say 49ers fans had a great showing in AZ. It was fun walking to the seats and hearing all the "whose got it better than us" chants. Even during halftime i went in the pisser and thats all you heard. Of course not the same tune after the game : / lol but still a good 49ers showing in AZ like always.

I think the biggest difference in this years team compared to last years team is David Akers. His foot has won us more games than anything else.

Very true...it is rare for Akers to not come away with 3 points on a FG. I just had a bad flashback to Cortez - not sure how he was an NFL kicker.

I'm hoping we can get the red zone offense going with Akers getting 1 point instead of 3. A win on MNF would be a great start to the end of season and avoid a stumble into the playoffs that we all want to avoid.
