Hoping for many reasons that Timmeh turns it around.

With the Phil's in town, Cain and Bum getting all the attention lately, facing Roy Halladay. Only starter who hasn't pitched a gem yet. He better step it up.

If Timmeh can not "get up" for this game, he doesn't DESERVE a big contract.

1) He is getting shown up by EVERYONE else in the rotation
2) His team is going up against it's #1 short-term rival
3) He is pitching against arguably the best pitcher in the game.

Sack up, son...

Let me use an acronym that seems very popular on this site : SSS.

And a term y'all seem to love : it's too early to start pants-shitting about Timmy.

Didn't he suck all August of 2010?

Outside of my overstatement that he does not deserve a big contract, is any of the rest of my post not a legit point for a stud? He needs to rise to the challenge and show Doc a big fat loss...

By "Outside of my overstatement that he does not deserve a big contract", I hope you realize that was the only part of your post that I quoted, and that I was commenting on. Wasn't that obvious? If I wanted to comment on "the whole post", I would have included the entire post. While a "quote" that is the entire post may only refer to a subset of the actual comments (that happens a lot), isn't it rather rare that one goes to the trouble of shortening a "quoted" section to zoom in on a particular point and then addresses stuff that was clipped out?

If Timmy has 5 ERs this game, I'm not going to declare that the Giants shouldn't sign him to a longer contract. I'll wait until much later in the season (heck, at least May ;) ) before saying so ...

Only if the thing I was responding to was a joke. Which of course would make me a HF. But I didn't think the whole "what else did I say you didn't agree with" was meant as a joke.

Which could make me a HF ;).

Oh, and BTW, is "Epic Voidfield" a regular poster's sockpuppet? I'm not *claiming* it, my question is based *only* on the name.

Kuiper pronounces Halladay like holiday. I always thought that was wrong.
