That whole Posey angle Joe is on is ridiculous. Sure Joe, in the 17 ABs he took last year after sitting on his butt for 3 weeks, you could tell everything you needed to know about his approach, such that you can honestly say he's totally changed this year.

Obviously for those who don't follow west coast baseball you get the idea that Posey was given a good shot to come up and play last year, rather than the sit on his ass treatment and a few scattered ABs.

I was generally against claiming people were creating multiple accounts back in the ESPN days, I had the idea that you give people the benefit of the doubt. But there were times I wondered if GP and you were the same person.

Not sure if it was the Espn board .... think it was .... the only time I have ever requested a board moderator to ban some one ... it was Tito .... and he was banned ... he started posting some racial crap and was claiming that he 'owned' the board and could do what he wanted ... I sent that post to the morerator ... seem to temember him resurfing a week or two later ... he eas a piece of work ...

He was definitely a fictional character. To be completely honest, I would not be totally floored-shocked if he ended up being an alt of one of you guys. Or of NN (though I doubt that, to be fair). He was such an over the top character, that it wouldn’t be too difficult to keep up the personality indefinitely.

Definitely wasn't me. I spend too much time on my one account to be creating alts and still have time to actually work and raise a family.

I would love to know if it was one of us on this board. Its been long enough. Fess up, whoever you are.

I had one alt over there, but I only used it for the up/down game on the MLB general board. I played with making it a dumb poster, but I stopped after like 2 posts because I just didn’t understand the point to it. lol

I don’t anymore, and msg is gonna kill me lol. But on espn I thought Tz and Msg were the same person for a brief while. I mean, we all are Tz alts, so I was kinda right

Not sure if any of you ever visited RUNBOARD back in the day .... but just like all forum boards they had their characters as well. The only one I truly remember as a problem was PWD (Portugese Water Dog) ... he was something to behold. If I remember correctly ...all the old timers were called 'mules'. Not sure why though.
That was the first place I remember seeing references to HF (humorless fvcks). Also think that they too used the dunce cap with the letters HF on it. Think its still around but not active.

I never suspected those two.

But I gotta admit, TZ and GP always made me scratch my head. But then I figured, “why?” They were WAY too similar. No point in creating a second persona when it was really just the same persona.

i spent some time there, but it was never “home”. After it died (not sure if they migrated or it just died naturally), I kept a light eye on it to try to redirect posters here. Marco came from there. There were a few others.

I lost the link to the site we played with for a while when Hammer bought this place. Do any of you still have a link there? They were a small, tight community, but the format of that board SUCKED.
