Garth Snow doesn't agree with Gillies suspension

Don Cherry actually came to Gillies defense as well. Looking at the hit again Gillies hit Clutterbuck in the shoulder. Clutterbuck's head hit the glass. I've seen a lot of hits lately that were much worse & go unpunished. Lucic the other night had a couple which at the very least he should have been fined for, probably suspended.

Colie has his wheel. We will never agree with it. That's just the way it is. I just hope all this stuff doesn't lead to an end to fighting.

DaBolt, I'm with ya man... His actions in the Pitt game were not justified at all whatsoever. But I believe that this hit on Clusterfuck is being a little blown out of proportion.

Yes, in his first game back after a 9 game suspension, he should be a little more cautios, but people ranting that he should be kicked out of the league is a little ridiculous.

Why Milpuke is given any airtime is beyond me? This is a guy who went into the stands to fight a guy during his playing career & he wants to end fighting.

He more said that we have to consider working on getting rid of the goons that are only on the bench to be sent out to fight...but very odd hearing that from Milbury. Mad Mike also added right at the end of the piece that he thinks the league needs to take a look at eliminating fighting all together. pix is correct that he stated earlier that Milbury wants to get rid of the designated fighter.
