books 4 and 5 were so awful (borderline unreadeable), i can't imagine the tv show is good, no matter how much the writers deviate/adjust.

still, i might try the show after it's all done. depends on if martin puts something readable out for book 6.

I guess the internets is where one comes to find hyperbole.

Martin admits he pooched it by splitting the books, but how are they 'unreadable?' They're written in the same style, same tone as the rest of the books.

I'm guessing your real meaning is 'he introduced a bunch of new characters I didn't want to bother with.'

And that would indeed be a valid criticism.

no. stop using literary terms you don't understand.

he lost control for a long time, and it felt like maybe he got it back at the end of dance. we'll see.

Okay someone has to say it. 1 or 2 of those pin-ups are hotter than that actual actress!

Also whoever made these forgot that Asha is called Yara on the show. Otherwise it's pretty obvious these are catering to fans of the show.

Uh, huh? Not my main gig by any stretch, but I have been gainfully employed to write words, so please, do lay on me the literary terms I'm not understanding.

He 'lost control?' What does that even mean? He admits he screwed up by splitting the books (2 books, same time frame), as people had their favorite characters that thus didn't appear as POV's in the other book.

If by 'losing control' you mean that he introduced a bunch of characters you didn't care for, then say so.

Well, clearly considering some of them aren't even characters in the books (Ros, Myranda, Karsi)
