The bottom frame might be 10% too bright, but the top one is clearly about 90% too dark... and backlit many times.

HBO and GOT fucked up. Stop making excuses. It was a royal fuck up.

Does anybody else think there might be an upcoming flip/betrayal by Tyrion? He has been disrespected in recent episodes (threatened with being fired as The Hand, and told to remain in the Winterfell crypts because he's useless).

Could Tyrion become disgruntled to the point of possibly betraying Dany & Jon? Could the tipping point be the appearance of Bronn.......

What about Bronn? Will he go through with his assignment of assassinating both Jaime & Tyrion with the crossbow? Or will Bronn kill Jaime first and then give Tyrion an opportunity to betray Dany and join Cersei? Hmmm?

Also,
If Bronn kills Jaime, Arya might be able to take Jaime's face and pretend to be Jaime in an eventual assassination of Cersei. If Arya does assassinate Cersei in this manner, I believe that Franken-Mountain will then kill Arya (he's always at Cersei's side). Afterwards, I believe the Hound will then kill Franken-Mountain (possibly with fire being involved).

We shall see.

I can see Tyrion going against Daenerys but I don't think he would join Cersei. I don't think all the survivors of the battle against the White Walkers will remain allies. I also don't think his turn on Daenerys would necessarily be one where he wants to go to war against her but simply one where he might conspire with others to have a different plan for what comes after Cersei is defeated. At least that's how I think it might start out but could eventually lead to a more hostile parting of ways. With only 3 episodes to go though, it might seem a bit rushed even with all the foreshadowing. Like you said, we shall see.

I've thought that since last season. When Tyrion went and talked to Cersei, he came back out without showing the end of their conversation. I think Tyrion flipped then

Was Jamie ever on Arya's list in the first place? If so, what for? He certainly would have been had she known he pushed Bran from the tower but she did not.
I don't remember him being on the list, but he did attack Ned in Kings landing then fled.

The Drogathi cavalry charge was stupid but it was definitely there for dramatic effect. In fact it was very dramatic.

The difference between real-life and the mooovies...

Agreed. The start and then minute later..........just fantastic. Dumb military wise but very dramatic.

IMO, no. He knows that Cersei is a POS and they hate.....HATE each other. Dany was harsh with him but then told him to stay in crypts because she can't do it alone without him. Made it very clear, he was to stay safe in case SHE survived.

Nobody wants to kill him more than Cersei. I cant imagine he believes there is a scenario where she does not kill him.

I personally think he knew she was lying. When Dani told Jon she would help with the zambies she never bothered to tell her advisors. So Tyrion had no way to know she had agreed. I think he told the lie he thought he needed to to get as many people as possible north.

If he had flipped no way does he hang around for that zombie battle, and Cersei does not send Bronn to kill him.

If there's any double-crossing going on it won't be for Cersi's benefit. Too many people just plain hate her.

From Jamie and Tyrion to Jon Snow and Arya.

But Dani is on the short list to get offed.

There are very few things about which I'm almost sure in this story, whether the books or the show, but one of things about which I'm most certain is Tyrion will not join Cersei. He could entertain the thought of pretending to join her in order to betray her, but I think he'd be too smart to believe Cersei would ever trust him, so it would be a thought he dismissed.

As far as Arya killing Cersei, it's quite possible she will, but I saw an interesting idea the other day ... Sansa will kill Cersei, or at least be responsible for her death. Who knows whether that's how Cersei will die (or even if Cersei will die), but Sansa has even more reasons to kill Cersei than Arya.

As capable as Arya is as a killer I don't think she is going to be involved in another big name kill because she's had her very big moment killing the Night King and they aren't going back to that well again.

She might even get killed by the Mountain or something.

I did think it would seem like too much for one character to take them both out.

I agree. As so long as Cersei is alive, Tyrion's life is in jeopardy. My guess is the he lied to Cersei just a little in that meeting, just like he wanted Jon to learn to do. IMHO Jamie will be dead and Cersei's last living relative will double-cross her causing her death. Remember the promise he made to her when Cersei took the redhaired whore.

That could have very well been a big part of the problem too. It was hard to judge resolution with the dark scenes.
It was the same shitty picture on my pc too at 1440p and 1080p, And people with cable said theirs was shitty too... but i didnt ask if they had a digital package or not.

Scrolling through this thread I guess I don't have to use the spoiler thing.

My thoughts:

Happy to hear I wasn't the only one with lighting issues. I understand why it was shot that way, but I really didn't want to have to start contemplating replacing my living room T.V. that is way too big to put into my bedroom.

Lighting issues aside, I enjoyed the episode but wasn't a fan of how the Night King ended. All that build up just to have some woman who looks like a 12 year old boy go full Jedi and kill him and all the White Walkers that quickly seemed like a huge build up for a short conclusion. Would've been more fun if he at least went down with some kind of epic sword fight.
