It was the same shitty picture on my pc too at 1440p and 1080p, And people with cable said theirs was shitty too... but i didnt ask if they had a digital package or not.

I had issues as well when I watched it on my TV. I paid a lot for the T.V. in my living room and have never had lighting issues before. I watched it both live and through Xfinity's On-Demand and the issues persisted.

I think it was a pretty common issue. I saw a bunch of articles where people were bringing this up.

I agree. As so long as Cersei is alive, Tyrion's life is in jeopardy. My guess is the he lied to Cersei just a little in that meeting, just like he wanted Jon to learn to do. IMHO Jamie will be dead and Cersei's last living relative will double-cross her causing her death. Remember the promise he made to her when Cersei took the redhaired whore.

Ros? I do remember that. I had kind of thought that was covered when she thought she'd attained some great victory by blowing up the Sept, but then Tommen killed himself over it. Now that you mention it, though, I seem to remember Tyrion saying something like Cersei would know the debt is paid, implying she'd know Tyrion was behind whatever bad happens, and he wasn't behind the Sept or tommen killing himself, she was, so Tyrion's words to her could still apply.

This is one of the places where I try really hard to forget anything from the books. I know the valonqar prophesy was left out of the show, but I can't remember if we've gotten, "we came into this world together, we'll leave this world together," or whatever the exact quote is, in the show.

Just because I really like the idea of Sansa getting to kill Cersei, or being at least partially responsible for Cersei's death, and thinking of Sansa and Tyrion kind of ... reconnecting ... it would work for me if Tyrion and Sansa were responsible for Cersei's death.

Scrolling through this thread I guess I don't have to use the spoiler thing.

My thoughts:

Happy to hear I wasn't the only one with lighting issues. I understand why it was shot that way, but I really didn't want to have to start contemplating replacing my living room T.V. that is way too big to put into my bedroom.

Lighting issues aside, I enjoyed the episode but wasn't a fan of how the Night King ended. All that build up just to have some woman who looks like a 12 year old boy go full Jedi and kill him and all the White Walkers that quickly seemed like a huge build up for a short conclusion. Would've been more fun if he at least went down with some kind of epic sword fight.

That would work for me. I've also wondered if Jaime doesn't end up killing Bronn, since Bronn is the one who helped him retrain to fight with his previously non-sword hand.

I just got an HBO subscription just to see the end of this series. Sad to say I watched the entire 7 seasons again.

Its amazing how much I missed or forgot the 1st time.

I used to have hbo when the show started but I've been just getting it during game of thrones for the past few seasons. I stream the other stuff I like during that time.

I did a full rewatch before season four and was blown away by the families I didn't realize were the same during my original watch. I had no idea the Margaery Tyrell was the same person with Renley when she was with Joffrey. There were just so many people early on.

I tried to do a full rewatch before this season but failed pretty miserably.
