I think that noodle arm would lead to Rush throwing four picks in a half like that kid in Buffalo. White would struggle mightily, but you can't teach that arm. I'd put a clipboard on him for a couple of years and maybe get a surprise. Meantime, I'd see if the Jets would take a midround pick for Bridgewater..
Bridgewater is solid and does not make big mistakes. He would be a good backup.
Best way to go if we contend. Rush and White could not pull us out if Dak goes down. A shame to lose a title because we did not have a reliable back up. imo

I'm so torn on this. Not because of the idea of adding ET, but the idea of giving up a 2nd round pick to do it and then giving out a huge contract and also because I am high on Woods. The one thing that maybe pushed me over the edge to say "do it" was what I bolded above in your quote. There is no guarantee he signs here next year if he is a FA. The thought of another team closing the deal on him for a 2nd would definitely piss me off and make me wish we had done it. I think it's time to just make the move. If it takes a 2nd rounder, then so be it. i'm officially in. Do it.may have to rely on the defense for the first 3 or 4 games...

I also think they need to trade for Earl. The offense is not good enough to carry the team. Earl would be a difference maker. I also like Woods. Now if the injuries continue I am not against moving Lewis to safety in an emergency. As much as I want Earl I just doubt the trade happens.

Jaylon needs to be sent on blitzes much more this season. Jaylon lookING like a beast so far. There is nothing finesse about Jaylon and he is very good in the trenches. The availability of Irving and Gregory could make or break the pass rush.
Add David Irving after four games and Earl Thomas from jump...I know a 2nd is valuable, but I would give next years second and the following years 3rd. Earl Thomas makes this D Super Bowl caliber. Throw in 30 carries a game from Zeke and his backup, that's a tough combinationmay have to rely on the defense for the first 3 or 4 games...
