Every aspect of coaching sucked too. Defense looked soft, special teams blew and offense definitely sucked. How could you have an extra week to prepare for a team that lost half its starters and blow?

The only way you can explain it is if the team, despite everything they said, viewed this as an easy win.

19 starts and what seems to be little to no progress at the position. The oline is better. Better run game. Different playcallers. Same result. After putting up 35 points in the last three weeks w/ many picks, it's time to honestly ask... is Siemian a franchise QB? Right now, it has to be met with a no.

Still struggling getting off his primary read (missed Booker and 2nd read wide open many times). Poor accuracy/ball placement on the 'easy' underneath throws. Poor poor pocket awareness, not buying time, not keeping eyes down field, running into lineman.

Maybe Siemian is the best QB on the roster, but he isn't looking like a franchise arm despite having a top 5-10 roster around him. After 19 official starts (and 6 preseason games) the excuses are waning thin... the book is out on Siemian... teams think he can't beat them... so they are gonna stack the box, run blitz, and make him throw...

Sure he put up yards last night (many in garbage time) but the offense struggled and most of the blame should be on the QB. Is the oline perfect? No. Was it the defense's best game? No. But teams have to win in different ways... Broncos pass offense has shown they can't answer the call w/o the defense and run game carrying the load.

With the next 4 games being @LAC, @KC, @PHI, and vs NE, this may the gauntlet that determines Trevor's future with the Broncos, and as a starter in this league. Can he rise to the occasion, and carry the team when needed, or is he just another Brian Hoyer?

At the end of the day, the giants used the same defensive blueprint that stopped us last year. Stack the box against the run, play the receivers one on one, and watch Siemian lose the game. We changed the OL, we changed the play callers and offensive coaches, and the results are the same. I think it’s safe to say Siemian is who he is at this point, and no amount of scheme and personnel turnover will change that.

There is no doubt that Trevor's play is not getting the job done and he's putting the team in a hole with some poor decision making / execution. However, he had nothing to do with two missed field goals, a couple of fumbles, no running game, a porous O line and a defense getting gashed for 150 yards on the ground. This was a TEAM loss and a terrible one at that. I don't think Siemian is the long term answer either but this coaching staff has some serious work to do. That was a complete, nationally televised embarrassment for the Broncos.

Siemian had a bad game to say the least, but this team did not show up ready to play - I blame VJ and the coaches - you have to have your players ready to bring the fight to the visiting team. The Giants had a motivation 3 levels higher than the Broncos.

The Broncos are going to have to play with urgency - over the next three road games or they can start looking toward the draft.

I would argue the lack of the run game was completely on siemian. When you are facing 8 and 9 in a box w/ 1 on 1s on the outside and can't make the other team pay, that's on the QB.

Also the oline is average. There are far worse olines in the NFL. Watson and Goff have far worse lines. As does Winston. It's not a continual excuse for them. You have to analyze the player within the confines of what you have on the team. He has more than enough around him to succeed or at least get better. That is far from the case. He is regressing if anything.

and the defense allowed only 16 points (3 being garbage time) and the offense had a net total of 3 points (with 7 being taken off by the pick 6 imo... net equal on the TDs making it 3 points scored for us by the offense).

Offense is the issue.

I don't disagree with you that the defense held the point total down but there are some signs that things aren't heading in the direction that we want. Certainly no need to panic yet. I also agree that Siemian was arguably the biggest problem on Sunday but I'll stop short of providing excuses for many of the other player's blunders. Just trying to say that it's a team sport but there's no doubt that our quarterback play is not good right now.

Playing LA KC and Philly on the road then back home for NE Cincy. I think team needs to panic and get a sense of urgency fast if we don't win sunday playoffs are a longshot.

This season seems like a week to week league. Let's see how they respond next week. A win next week would make them 3-0 in the division.

I was only referring to the defensive play yesterday when saying not time to panic. On the offensive side of the ball and with the road trip we got coming, there BETTER be a huge sense of urgency!

Totally agree that this was on everybody. Just looking back over the game, the fact that we couldn't cover one tight end, and let somebody that I had never heard of before tear our running game a new ass.

What I meant before the power just tripped out there was -

Totally agree that this was on everybody. Just looking back over the game, we were letting a rookie tight end and a running back who I had never heard of tear our defense a new ass. Eli wasn't awesome but he made a couple of nice throws when he had to. Siemian just sucked. The pick to Jenkins was an easy read, and he never should've thrown that ball and that is where we lost the game in my opinion. They had all the momentum after that, and with our now anemic offense this 3 game stretch coming up is looking that much more daunting. I'd love nothing more than to see Siemian turn around over the next month and prove the haters wrong, but with the season likely in the balance over the next month how long until we turn it over to Brock?

Couple other notes outside of the QB . Nothing to say more about how bad Trevor was.

CJ can't get a yard against a CB.
D gives up a 17 yard run on the goal line.
McMiss is plain terrible right now and with the way the team is built he can't be bad.
D can't cover a TE. How about Talib on #88. He's covered Gronk and Graham in their prime.

Brian Hoyer = Trevor Siemian.

Siemian is a turnover machine. He reminds me of the bad version of Jake Plummer when he is pressured. He just isn't a starting QB. He doesn't have good football IQ at all and panics in the pressure. Not smart with the football and has no instincts as a QB. I knew those people hyping him up after two games was going to most likely come back to haunt them so I sorta bit my lip. Wish he would have stayed in that direction but he has not. He is back to the old Siemian and their are no excuses for him.

Brandon McManus looks back to his crappy first year with Denver. He needs to get out of his funk fast because he is killing momentum.

Our offense cannot finish just like the past 4 years. It is growing tiring.

We need to either turn it up or turn it down for the year none of this up and down crap where we don't know exactly what we have so we keep dinkering around with what is on our current roster.

The D while still very good gave up way too many big plays to the worst run O in the NFL.

This was a joke of a game for us and a huge concern.

Coming off a bye, pretty healthy against an 0-5 team on the road minus their top 4 WR's top pass rusher, top CB, starting center. 10 injuries.

I am usualy a level headed fan but this one was BAD!

VERY BAD!
