Kinda neat to see a true Free Safety back there. I know Stewart can plan FS with Ward last year but I'd rather have DS in the box and Simmons roaming free.

Not many of these players even know Pat Bowlen. Not convinced that would be a motivator.

They may not have met him but his fingerprint is everywhere at Dove Valley. To those younger players, he's probably kind of like the Wizard of Oz (man behind the curtain).

Why would we be angry at the Cowboys for Bowlen not being elected to the Hall of Fame? I can't stand Jerry Jones, but that isn't his fault. Are we going to use Thurman Thomas being elected into the hall of fame over Tatum Bell as motivation this week? ;)

(Don't answer that. I am just having fun now)

and yes. Bowlen is a way better person/owner then Jerry Jones.

That is pretty much higher than a Harvard degree.

Cause that is what DT yelled in the locker room after the game.

Im not on the Trev train yet.

He misses open receivers too often.
He runs into outside pressure instead of stepping into the pocket.

He's much better than last year, but still has these Jake Plummer freak out moments that scare me

This is where I am at. I like a lot of what I have seen but there are still plenty of moments that leave a lot to be desired. What happens when the run game isn't looking like the best run game in the NFL? A lot of the big plays this season have come off play action where defenses are biting up leaving things open over the top. Trev does a great job of selling the run as well as the playcalling of doing play action out of formations that we usually run out of.

Like you said he does seem to have those panic moments where he tries hard to get out of the pocket seeing the pressure coming from the right. Usually there is a nice pocket for him to step up into. I did see him as the game went on against the Cowboys start climbing the pocket more so hopefully that is somethign the coaches talked to him about and he listened.

I also hate seeing that a few times a game he makes a throw or decision that leaves you scratching your head of what he saw to make such a decision. The interception this last game when a turnover is the last thing you can have in that moment. Maybe that was more of DT running the wrong route but at least where it looked like the play was opening up DT was running to the open hole in the defense compared to right where the defender was standing to get the interception.

Now some of this is just nitpicking a guy that has done pretty darn well. There are going to be some games though where these little mistakes are the difference between winning and losing. Needs to clean some of this up but I also do have more confidence now that he can actually learn from some of these mistakes and improve.

The int against the cowboys was a slight adjustment and DT and trev were not on the same page. DT sat down and trev thought he was running a slant

Overall you can see very nice improvement so far from year 1 and 2.
