Rookie Free Agents

Well damnit call them UDFA's then.

You're confusing me. :D

Give some examples of what you mean. I am curious. Rookie free agents throughout the NFL? We only have one on our roster Jamal Carter, who else is a rookie free agent in the NFL that Elway was a god and why are they not on our team if Elway is a god for rookie free agents? Or are you referring to rookie free agents that he cut and went on to another team? Does that make him a god?

Crash is obviously referring to UDFA - like C. Harris, CJ Anderson, and J. Carter

Makes more sense.

I'm just trying to get people to say what they mean.

Don't forget Barrett, Fowler

I won't say Peko because he hasn't proven himself yet.

He needs to draft much better on offense before I am ready to call him a football god though. He's done well with undrafted free agents.

Harris was his first year as a Bronco- Started with a bang... May have an undrafted hall of famer in his first class as a GM.

One day - we may be saying he is a football god for drafting Semian in the 7th round.

I'm of the school it doesn't matter where you get your players - it matters that you get your players and give them opportunities to make plays.

I look at the W-L record mostly.

If you win you are doing something right, if you lose you are not.. That simple.

It is hard to criticize Elway's won/lost record since he has been the GM - the one year he didn't make the playoffs - he fired his buddy Kubiak - one year after the Super Bowl win. John doesn't bring a lot of sentimentality to his job.

100% agree. And when people complain about Elway. That's why I don't join them. I also don't go over the top with him. So far I have been overall happy with him.

I get frustrated when things don't work out like expected, but those expectations are there because he has a track record of great deals and signings.

It's a great time to be a Bronco fan.

I have a theory on Elway's picks. I think he picks the player he would LEAST want to play against (thus his great defensive picks). SO, I think we need a former defender to consult in a similar fashion for offense.

Is a coach eligible to be recognized?

If so, McCoy. This O is so much more enjoyable than watching Kubiak's 50 year old O the last three yeas.

I'm wondering if behind the scene Elway fueled the team using jerry v pat in the HOF snub

That is part of this team Steam .

But Remember they have been in two SB's in the last few years and to be picked to finish in last place in several publications and to be underdogs in your own place to a team that has done really nothing as of yet .

That was a huge burr under there saddle I am sure CEH

I will go you one more I bet behind the scenes The players are wanting to win SB52 for Pat again so he has to be acknowledged by the HOF
