I wish I could fire them too. But Dougie had to sign them mid season...and for 3 more years. Fuck you Dougie. Could have had them at 50% discount now. Not $6+ million players. What a waste of future cap space.

Doug Wilson has been an ok but not stellar GM at best. Good ole Deano has him beat.

Not many prospects coming thru the system as well. Wow, good luck Sharks on the future esp after resigning Marleau and Thornton

I think thornton, pavelski, and boyle are the likely 3 to get dumped this offseason along with Tmac and maybe Nemo.

I hear Spezza is available and that gets Thornton close to ontario

Good bye Boyler. I know you tried through the years. Sorry you wasted half your career with the Choke Sisters.

Yeah, boyle is definitely done. Pavelski might get moved, but I doubt it. Jumbo and patty will be here until they retire.

They can fire tmac, or whoever, but it wont matter. until the cancers named marleau and thornton are removed, there will be no glory in SJ.

My guess is Doug Wilson knows it, but he has to decide whether he wants to keep a high quality product on the ice for the 82 regular season games, or whether he actually wants to go for a cup. Jumbo and patty arent getting younger and they will only get worse and worse. They have high trade value now and trading them could shorten the rebuild. Same for trading nemo. The opportunity is this offseason for the sharks to make the massive turnover.

They would suck for maybe 2 -3 years, but they would have a new set of young players in the system hungry for playing time and hungry to impress. I would rather have 18 nieto and hertls than 18 pavelski, marleau, and throntons. Hungrier younger faster players will always outplay the lazy vets.

If dougie waits for a few years, then the rebuild will take a lot longer. The sharks need to get value for these guys. That's all there is...

I stopped getting mad at the games a few seasons ago.
I think it was the Chicago WCF series. I got real mad that year but then I just got numb to it.
I'm still disappointed but I kinda expect it so it's not as bad.

I know that's not an inspiring mindset for a sports fan but look who my favorite teams are.
Building up a tolerance for disappointment is necessary to survival. :p

One year though, one of those three teams will make me proud.
I just hope they're still in the same city when that happens.

Its pretty bad when you expect the team to disappoint you instead of surprise you lol, Last year or the year they lost to the ducks was the year the broke the camels back for me, the staged thornton fight with getzlaf was pathetic.

I agree. I gave up on playoff hockey after the Vancouver WCF. That was enough playoff investment for me. Now I just sit and laugh at it all.

P.S. Drew stop praising the coaching staff. Baby Jay and TMac suck balls!!!!

Same here - I just got numb to it, and then I found things that were more important to me.

Hey - hats off to the Kings, I mean shit.. they were OUT if this motherfucker and inched their way back. Definitely the better squad for sure.

Until Patty and Thornton are elsewhere I don't think I'll be spending much time following these clowns anymore. I enjoy the crew here - lots of respect... but fuck these guys. we deserve better.

Cheers guys~

I think Pavelski could be packaged to land Weber, maybe Thornton can get dumped for Spezza, Nemo to Buffalo they need a #1 and so does the Islanders. Sign Miller even though hes a choke its some stability if Stalock doesnt pan out.

I think Tmac is gone, potentially followed by Thornton, Nemo and Pavelski. Boyles gone for sure. I figure Ottawa is offering up Spezza so Thornton can get close to Ontario. Maybe Pavelski can land Weber.

Hard to not justify a big shake up after this season

in theory, you are right. but here will be the quote:

" Tip your hat to the LA kings. They won the cup for a reason. They played well. There were a few tough bounces, a couple tough calls and it was a battle. It was a great series, tragic, but we fought hard."

That will equal few major changes beyond boyle and maybe a new coach. Dougie will live and die with his twins, so once everyone calms down, he will tweak a bit but do nothing.

Joe's first words...

"We had chances, they just didnt go in." This from the guy who is -6 or -7 and had nothing. No personal responsibility at all. he doesnt care.

"it was a good series. too bad."

NOTHING about his own suckage.

I don't think we can trade PM and Jumbo. They both have the No Trade clause in their contract. Between those two, PM can stay but Jumbo needs to go.

If we can get all of these, Xmas comes early to us fans.
