Watching the Jimmy Watson speach. OMG was he a good player. He did everything so cleanly and simply. No fuss or muss. Physical without being dirty, positionally sound and smart. In todays game he would be making seven figures ... such a sin that medical science hadn't gotten "there" soon enough for him.

Jake not being on the top unit seems just let things flow so much better there. No needlessly forcing it to him on the half boards, just Ghost and Giroux taking what they want with Streit as a safety net

Its just so nice to see how we can play without the anchor Umberger out there. Why it took this long is beyond me. Maybe Hakstol being a rookie coach wanted a veteran on the ice to help him a little.
