Nick Cousins really looks good. Like the combo with Laughton and Read on the wings.
Lost of moxy and lots of speed.

The team needs to tighten up in their own zone. Neuvirth has been very sound.

Observation: Ghost seems to be in one of those stretches where he is reading what the opposition is doing to contain him. He had a couple games like this just before Christmas as well. He was able to pick up points on the PP almost by accident. He is still making the plays that lead to points but not getting them himself.
Part of me is just giggling at the thought of this team having Ghost, Sanheim and Provorov manning the point on PP. They are all a little different and they are all lethal.

Getting Ghost off the wall is key. Hope that the 3rd period allows him to pick up a point or two. He has played well enough in his zone and uses his offensive skills to create defense.

Holy crap. The Flyers are one point out of the Wild Card. Yes, there are teams ahead of them...but 1 point.

No mixed feelings here. I want our boys to win, always.

Neuvy played great again. The Coyotes have plenty of speed and skill, they just seem too young and inexperienced defensively. We pretty much cruised to a win, even without Voracek. Too easy to score on them when we really turned up the heat. The fourth goal they gave up really showed it. Both of their defending players went crashing into their own goalie, leaving the puck sitting in front of an empty net. Hey, at least they picked up the spare...Lol

Hopefully another team falls out of the race, but right now it looks like only us and our bitter rivals fighting for that 8th spot. Every other team is multiple points and/or games behind. They look done and we look like we're just getting started here.

Very impressive game which I think is good enough to get them in if they continue to play this way. The key is secondary scoring and it was brilliant to move Laughton to the wing as he's blossoming with the pressure taken off while Cousins is thriving there. Seems like all of the young guys that we were concerned about are finding their way and shit Ghost is crazy good. Habs friend of mine called me in amazement...that's usually a good sign haha!

Getting out to an early lead 2 goal was great and I always say if we can score 4 in a game nobody in the league can beat us. The only player I think had a really bad game was Read I hope he can get out of this funk if we keep him.

Crazy stats of this game: Voracek misses 1st game in 4 years and Gee gets his 500 point and is only the 10 fastest Flyer to 500. Gee has the most points in the league and is only the 10th fastest Flyer huh?

Yep the game was so much different back then. This is why I was upset when G was left off team Canada and Kunitz was on there...insanity.
