Solder is pissing Brady off and we saw it yesterday when Brady got sacked, looked at Solder, pointed and slammed his hand in the ground

As he should. Solder is getting Brady KILLED out there! Yes I know it is very easy to arm chair QB and no i've never played football but Solder looks completely lost out there and he has to be hurt... He just doesn't seem to have it anymore.

Several different things at work here......Solder went through Chemo for cancer and it's supposed to be in remission. Chemo is an ugly chemical mixture that is literally deadly but given in just under a toxic dose. The effects can be long lasting or take a long time to actually show up. It's my opinion that it's starting to show up.
Now these effects are manifesting themselves in what has always been the weakest part of his game....blocking a speed rusher. He has never had the quickest feet and it seems that he just can't take those two steps back and extend his arms forcing the defensive player to have to recover from the push and circle quickly enough to force Brady to move or get rid of the ball. He can't make that move and the defender just blows right by him on the inside or takes a side step that he can't react to and misses the block entirely.

Guys like Joe Staley who can still play LT in their mid 30s are rare and that's why they can still make $12-$15M
a year. I'd kill to have a guy like that protecting Brady's blind side.

This was a couple years ago he had testicular cancer and no one knew about it. He had a rough yr that yr. His 2 yr old son is currently undergoing treatment for cancer as well. I have not heard much about his son, other than he is doing good. Not sure if Nate is still having Chemo, but I am sure his son is on his mind all the time. I'm hoping he is just rusty after not having any camp...

I was wondering how his son may be doing? NE has given Nate a lot of time off this season for non related injuries. I'm wondering if either he or his son are not as healthy as it's being reported?

If I remember correctly, he had to have his left testicle removed. He went through 8 weeks of chemo about a month after the surgery. He had some minor treatments before he was declared remissed.

My sister in law went through 12 weeks of chemo after having both breasts removed at 45 years old. She was declared in remission and she was perfectly fine from 2005 until 2013. Then it popped up in her liver, she went through 10 weeks of chemo and it seemed to be gone, only to pop up in her lung, then her brain. She died in June 2015. The problem is that remission is not 'cured'.

I concur Ken. When my wife got chemo, the doctor told her that if she survived, it would be like she aged 20 years
All chemo is different but I would not want any of them.....
