Game #6 Patriots vs New York Jets 10-15-2017

Both teams are 3-2. This is critical for the Patriots. They've played some of the tougher teams in the NFL so far this season and haven't played well at all. The Jets have historically played the Patriots extremely tough and the Pats have been extremely lucky to win games over the past few years when the Jets were considered to be bottom feeders.

The Pats could be without Gronk again.

Brady had an MRI Tuesday on his left should and has not practiced this week.

7 other Patriots did not participate in practice yesterday due to a myrad of injuries.

Nate Solder did not practice yesterday....."Non Football Reasons".

If the Patriots are going to compete for anything this season, they have to start playing like a competitor this week.

I'll be happy if the defense can play like they did in the first half last week all through the game.
The offence other than the line doesn't bother me. The "D" is keeping me up nights (kidding).

This almost has the feel of a "must win" game with three AFC east teams locked at 3 and 2.

I think Pittsburgh upsets KC this week but I don't see KC losing many more games the rest of the way unless they get the injury bug.

Brady and Gronk at practice today is what I read.
They had 10 days off to get that D fixed.
I think NE wins this one pretty easily. Or maybe I'm just really really hoping to see them play a good game.

They need to get the run game going and get it going good. Gotta keep TB upright and if we can run, then we can limit Gronks snaps. My gut feeling is we dominate and win big. They have no weapons on offense, other than ASJ. No Powell, Forte, and if Gillmore can't take Anderson 1on1, well then fuck......I think this defense plays big. The offense should move the ball. Then again, its NYJ vs NE....anything can happen, and will.

Not sure Blount would do much better. Philly OL seems to be better than NE. Blount is slower than those 2. We are getting tripped up behind the LOS.

It's a combination of bad play calling, OL and the RBs. But the RBs do shoulder a good part of the blame. Need to get Rex back and see if he can do anything?

Those boys are just too light and more shifty. NE needs that power back type nobody is opening a gaping hole for them on short yardage.
