You would think that the Flyers would be good by now in the shootout.. They just are aweful and we usually know the outcome before it even begins.

We are 0- 7 consecutively in the shoot-out obviously dating back to last year. Some things haven't been fixed yet apparently.

If I have to reach for any possible positives so far this season I would start by at least we are scoring goals. Secondly, we are playing tough opponents early on and therefore it will get easier once October ends. I think Mason is doing well despite our dmen struggling, which we all knew coming in. I'm not worried yet.

I am not worried either Mall. Just making a comparative observation. And yes, we are doing some things better than last year but the results have not been demonstrated in wins to date in games that were very winnable with the things we are doing right.

I'm sorry but I hate that fucking looney tune shoot out BS...have I mentioned this before??? No justice in that shit. If they win both all of a sudden things don't look bad but because they can't win in a shootout it's all a wasted effort. I can't see the players liking this shit.

On another note it doesn't seem to matter if they go up by a few goals or down by a few goals...completely ridiculous hockey. I'd blow my brains out if I were Berube. Either way they're simply not good enough especially with Coburn now out...it's just too much to lose on D their weakest position.

I never heard either way regarding the players / shootouts. I'd think a pro player would LOVE it (the challenge, the attention, etc.) One on one...man...if that doesn't get the juices flowin'.
